Access Abilities Oakville, a family-owned and operated home healthcare store, is celebrating our 25th anniversary on June 15th, 2023 with a community event from 3pm to 5pm at 549 Bronte Road.
Premier Ford will be attending at 3pm for a speech and photo-op. Light refreshments will be served and all are welcome to attend.
Access Abilities is a beloved local institution thanks to its excellent community service and events such as the Veterans Appreciation Luncheon (attended annually by hundreds of Veterans to honour their sacrifices) and Annual Medical Professionals Conference to showcase excellence in the home healthcare industry. It also regularly hosts strawberry shortcake and ice cream socials and complimentary walker clinics, and contributes to many local organizations such as Community Living, Acclaim Health and CharterAbility.
The business is a true family venture, with co-founders and owners Kristin and David Courtney and children Melody and Aaron all working together at their locations. Daughter Karla even assists with marketing and their website from the U.K.
Says Kristin: “Access Abilities is much more than a store. While we sell many items that can help with mobility, we have a true passion for helping others live the best life that they can, every day.”

Along with their family and staff, they spend countless hours supporting charitable organizations and initiatives in the community.
