Why rent a hospital bed?
Renting a hospital bed is ideal for situations where temporary medical care is required at home. This could be after hip or knee surgery, during an extended illness recovery, or when a permanent decision has not yet been made. Adjustable homecare beds can also help with aging at home, can help with chronic conditions like dementia or MS and can help prevent bed sores.
Renting offers a flexible, cost-effective solution without the long-term commitment of purchasing.
What features do home hospital beds have?
Our rental beds are designed with safety and comfort in mind, including:
- Adjustable frame, mattress, and rails for easy patient access and enhanced safety.
- Ability to raise and lower the head, feet, and overall bed height to assist with mobility and care.
- Option to add on an over the table bed.
What are the rental terms for hospital beds?
We understand that each situation is unique, which is why we offer hospital beds for rent starting from a minimum of one week with no maximum period, ensuring you have the flexibility to manage your specific needs.
Can I get the hospital bed delivered or installed?
Ease and convenience are at the heart of our service. We deliver, set up, and disassemble the hospital beds, requiring only that the space be prepared before our arrival to help streamline the process.
What size is the bed and what is the maximum weight capacity?
The hospital bed is a standard size of 223.52cm by 81cm (88”x32”) and the maximum weight capacity is 450lbs.
We do not have bariatric beds available to rent, however we do have them for purchase.
Does the rental come with a mattress?
Yes, our home hospital bed rental comes standard with a pressure relief foam mattress. For an additional charge you can also upgrade to a gel or air mattress.
Can I rent to own a hospital bed?
We do not offer rent to own, however the month’s rental fee can be applied towards the purchase of a new bed.
