Choosing the right scooter
Ultra-portable scooter
If portability is your primary concern this model folds easily without any assembly/disassembly required. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, light activities and shorter distances:

Mid-weight scooters for daily activity
Mid-weight mobility scooters offer slightly more support and range than the above lightweight/portable scooters and are better suited to outdoor. They models are also quite easy to transport, but do require a bit extra in the way of assembly/disassembly. Depending on the size of the space they could also be used indoors.
